Christopher L. Penn
Founder & CEO · U.S. Military Veteran
Christopher Penn founded Mr Hemp House after discovering the profound health impact that building materials have on the people living inside them. After years of researching indoor air quality, toxic off-gassing, and bio-based construction alternatives, he developed GaiaCrete® — a proprietary hempcrete alternative engineered to be mold-resistant by design when properly installed, fire-resistant, and low-toxicity with no added VOCs where applicable.
As a military veteran, Christopher brings discipline, integrity, and a mission-driven approach to everything Mr Hemp House does. His goal is straightforward: replace the toxic materials in American homes with solutions that protect families rather than harm them.
Today, Christopher leads a growing team of certified installers, educators, and healthy home advocates. Through Mr Hemp House University (MHHU), he trains the next generation of non-toxic building professionals. Through the Home Health Score program, he helps families identify and eliminate hidden toxins in their homes.
