Christopher L. Penn is a U.S. military veteran and the founder of Mr Hemp House™, America's leading healthy home company specializing in GaiaCrete® hempcrete insulation and non-toxic building materials.
After witnessing the health impacts of toxic building materials on fellow veterans and their families, Penn founded Mr Hemp House in 2019 with a singular mission: "Healthy Homes for All." His company has since grown to serve all 50 states with professional hemp insulation installation, in-home healthy home assessments, and a suite of digital tools including the Healthy Home Assessment app.
Penn developed GaiaCrete® — a proprietary hempcrete alternative enhanced with volcanic ash pozzolans, rice husk ash, and beneficial mycelium — as a superior, more accessible version of traditional hempcrete for the American market.
